We will meet off the R56 just off Baynesfield at the D360 sign, at the Non Stop Adventure turnoff. From there we will travel to our starting point about 7kms on a good gravel road.
We will hike to the Mabata cave where we will learn about what happened in the cave in 1906. There will be a bit of a climb from the cave to get to the escarpment. Once on top we will hike along the top to the Glasier Heritage site, with evidence of glacial activity from many years ago. (Ice Age)
From there on our way back we will stop off at a small crystal clear waterfall which flows continuously throughout the year.
We have been offered a super area to relax afterwards where we may braai – max 20 people.
